Travel + Leisure ranks Cape Breton the #1 island to visit in continental North America, National Geographic Traveler calls it one of “50 places of a lifetime”, and Condé Nast Traveler has said it's the most scenic island in the world. You'll soon learn why Cape Breton is known as 'Nova Scotia's masterpiece'.

The golf world is abuzz about Cape Breton’s newest course, Cabot Links. Designated ‘Canada’s First True Links Course’, Cabot Links is set in the town of Inverness on the West Coast of Cape Breton Island. The course is adjacent to the town’s famous beach on the waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence –where the sunsets are unrivaled.

You'll also quickly discover why Highlands Links is among the country's most renowned golf courses. Ranked #1 public course in Canada by SCOREGolf magazine, the course is located within the spectacular Cape Breton Highlands National Park. In Cape Breton, you'll find an environment that's rugged and untouched. You'll see wildlife unique to the region, which could include moose, bears, foxes, coyotes, lynx and bobcats. You'll discover the spectacular seacoast, valleys, and highlands.

You'll also find, constructed on three plateaus and overlooking the rolling hills and waters of the Bras d'Or Lakes, the Graham Cooke-designed course The Lakes. The course opened in 2010.

The courses of Golf Cape Breton are all located on or near The Cabot Trail, which The Lonely Planet calls one of North America's best road trips and most scenic drives.
